In 2013 I ventured from New York City to Istanbul with a Fulbright Fellowship and have been on the move ever since, attending art residencies and traveling independently in Turkey, Morocco, France, Finland and the United States. Along the way I've kept a visual diary by illustrating my travels in a Moleskine journal with acrylic ink. Each page is a painting of a landscape or memory embellished with handwritten descriptions. Artwork explores broader themes of memory, nostalgia, and the blending of one's inner world with the external world.

Pages have been featured by AirBnb, Travel + Leisure, Mashable, Huffington Post Greece, The Wall Street Journal, and A World of Artist Journal Pages by Dawn DeVries Sokol, published in 2015.
