Missy H. Dunaway is an artist and illustrator whose work has been featured by Penguin Books, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Travel + Leisure, The National Audubon Society, Passion Passport, and in published books including A World of Artist Journal Pages by Dawn Devries Sokol. Her artwork exhibits internationally and has been acquired by public and private institutions including Carnegie Mellon University, the Folger Shakespeare Library of Washington DC, and the South Molton Museum in England.
Missy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Arts from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010. In 2013 she was awarded Fulbright Research Fellowship to study Anatolian textiles in Istanbul, which culminated in a series of paintings that exhibited in Istanbul, Berlin, and the US. Since then, she has been awarded eight artist-in-residence fellowships to travel and paint abroad for months out of the year. Her home studio is based in Portland, Maine.
